    FTA receiver
    Dish
    LNB
    Cable
    Connectors
    Cable clips
    Cable ties
    Drill
    Spanners
    Ladder
    Hole tidy/covers
    Silicone grease
    Self amalgamating tape
    .....

Did you want a single LNB system, multiple LNB system or motorised dish?

An lnb is a "Low noise block" or the actual aerial in a satellite system that receives the satellite signal after being reflected by the satellite dish. It sits on an arm that is on the satellite dish where the cable connects. Yes most equiptment can be brought in shops here or online.

I'm just having a look at this FTA thing, I'm green as the grass, I saw the boxes in woodies today, €299 for SD €300 for HD,

which includes installation, just reading the notes on the carton it says we will install this and a dish if required.

My question is this, can these boxes work (in some cases) without the need for a dish? and if so, how about the Waterford area?

Will my analog tv be able to receive digital signals, I assume these boxes have a D/A converter?

    thanks.

Nope, they're FTA satellite and thus need a Satellite dish for reception of satellite signal.

Are you sure that pricing is correct, only one euro difference between the two products?
