It provided good coverage last night. There was PIP as well.

Eurosport also providing coverage each night. Only the last couple of hours of each stage though.

I see the Astana truck was broken into last night. Lance's TT bike and a couple of the teams race bikes were taken.. :-(

    I think 8 Irish time,
Stage 1 starts tomorrow at 12 pm PT
, and there is 8 hour difference. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't have Eurosport at home.

I hooked up to EUROSPORT online. Its €4 per month which I don't mind as I now have two channels of sport 24x7 - I plan to watch the one day classics online this way.

Join us for coverage starting with our pre-show at 8 AM PT followed by the race live at 8:30 AM PT.

Plus 8 hours to make it irish time. So 16:00, and race starts at 16:30.

I don't think eurosport showed anything yesterday, cause helicopters couldn't get up due to weather.

http://tracker.amgentourofcalifornia.com/ they only showed last hour or so. Weather is no good today either so let's hope we get some pictures.

I watched the coverage yesterday, and cos the weather was so bad it was just lots of shots of the finish line, and very little of the racing

Ah come on, it was nearly worth it for that finish. What a hero.

Conditions were woeful though, its amazing there were no major spills.

8.30am (16.30 GMT) start for the riders today only. I read somewhere that this is to get them across the Golden Gate bridge without causing too much delay on the working week.

Back to a 12am (20.00 GMT) start from tomorrow again..

    Operation Puerto

I just thought his performance on the day was fantastic, riding on his own from 200m I believe and nearly had it snatched from him in the end, the look on his face after sprinting over the line was priceless.
Asked about Puerto following the race, and how critics could perceive his victory in Santa Rosa, he answer was simple. “I’m very happy,” he said. “The whole world has seen (the stage win). And I have nothing else to say. I’m just happy and proud of what I did today.”

Haven't watched a stage for a long time that I'm nearly screaming at the screen for a rider to stay away for the stage win. Thought it was all over on that last lap but what a turn up for the books in the end.

They need to reintroduce the combination jersey for him.:D Shame about his age,he could've had a full house of jerseys today.

Fair enough, I just don't share the same enthusiasm for the likes of him.
