    surely they can just sell them without osx and avoid even potential threats of legal action

    its not like running osx on non-apple hardware is a) tricky or b) new

    Very interesting given the **** cubase has been giving me lately.. I had been tempted to move to Mac/Logic but can't justify the price of a Mac..

    Anyone actually bought one of these "clones"?

    Its not just a case of installing it and away you go. Can be difficult depending on what hardware you have and whether there are drivers available. Even if there are drivers, they may not be great quality.

    this is something ive been thinking about recently (jus about to get a new laptop) , would you have any idea what it would cost say for example to get whatever is needed to run logic on a windows laptop ? thanks
