    Re:Making Cappacinnos Kenwood Frothie Trash?

Hello I was considering buying the Kenwood Frothie Maker,BUT I have noticed NO electrical stores in Dublin stock it,not even Argos,it seems discontinued,

which normally indicates they are defective in some way as usual you can purchase so called "New" Ones from "Business Sellers" from Ebay.co.uk

On www.amazon.com www.amazon.co.uk the reviews are OK

I am just uncertain when paying by Paypal "third party intermediatary" for Credit Card purchases so getting a charge back reversal would be difficult
Distance Selling costs an arm and a leg not to mention hassle sending it back to UK.

anyone have one of these Kenwood Frothie Machines in the past?
    good or bad experiences?

    Thanks,

    John

We have had one for quite a time, unfortunately had to dispose of it due to overuse-says it all. Its so handy just throw in the coffee (instant) milk and sugar and switch on, cappacino or latte in 5 mins. Would recommend. Where are you getting one from as we are looking to buy a replacement? Spotted one in Woddies on friday for 59.99 which is a bit of a rip off considering it was around 30 - 40 when we bought it 3 years ago

If you like your latte's especially, its a must

    Surely a contradiction in terms.

I have one and I love it ;) I use it for making hot chocolate though not really for anything else - mind you I love hot chocolate so it gets lots of use - I originally got it as a present a few years ago and it died last year (RIP)but I got a replacement one in Harvey Norman (not sure if they still have them though).....

Which Woodies? in Dublin well for 59.00 Euros you do get get a 12 month gaurantee you do release this Kenwood Frothie maker were last made in 2006 according to Kenwood UK Customer Services they have an inherent fault and have been discontinued. Argos and Littlwoods Uk used to stock them.

I purchased a Professional Froth Au Lait £83.00 Sterling it does a very good job it came from the UK www.tapside.com buy directly with a Credit Card just in case the business goes bust:)

    Regards,

    John

there a load of rubbish hardly any froth comes up.on the box u can see a capachino with a load of froth.but when u make it it dosent turn out like that.its just one extra stupid gadget that gets left in the back of a cupboard after about a week total waste of money.any reviews that u might read are actually made up by kenwood to boost the sales.an electric whisk does the same job
