    What do you think?

I use it. My teeth are fine, I mean......... a nice set of teeth. :D

The government already shake and vac flouride into our water supply. Like kids running to candy flosssssss.

Remember pea sized amount of toothpaste is the same as eight ounces of water. And anything over that is poisonous, check the back of toothpaste. But what is the benifet then other than it k-i-l-l-i-n-g us may I add. Kinda Ironic if you a-s-k m-e.

    Thoughts?

I am afraid you are W-R-O-N-G. the use of flouridated tooth paste and water has ensured a drastic reduction in the level of tooth decay, particurary in children in this contry since the 1960's. Th addition of tiny ammounts flouride in the optimally flouridated water has enhanced this effect without any health risks. Only high levels, often found naturally in some areas are of any risk,

Not untill you have had to treat a screaming child who has not slept in nights because of a terrible toothache, watch them cry and scream while having a tooth out and then maybe be frightened of dentists there whole life, can you comment on the flouride. I think it is the greatest public dental helath initiave in this and many other countries ever.

It protects not only those who use toothpaste but thoses would dont as well. There are no complications except a halving of the general tooth decay rate.

Dentists support this and other oral health initiatives even though it reduces the population treatment need.

I use euthymol doesnt contain fluoride and my teeth feel great.

Thing is the fluoride our government puts in our water (contracts Chemifloc) is not natural fluoride it's industrial waste.

Flouride in water is at optimal levels, its is added so or course it is not natural (although many water supplies have flouride from the rocks but as more than or less than optimal levels.) It is not industrial waste, like chlorine it is added as a salt at source.

Anyone saying they dont use flouride and there teeth are good may be correct, but on a population level. Flouride in water is a brilliant method of protecting everyone from tooth decay.

EU law may at some point stop the water flouridation (it will be a sad day). Be prepared to bring your kids to the dentist more and watch the decay rate increase.

Once you use Euthymol, you can never go back to ordinary toothpaste. Great stuff.

I don't think UK water is fluoridated is it ?
I've just tried that Euthymol toothpaste, it's strong lethal stuff.

I don't understand the fluoride debate at all, not one bit.

    Your wrong.

That is because we brush our teeth regulary, before the 1960s we didn't look after our teeth.

There are many EU countries that don't flouridate their water, even going back to the 1960s, so your arugment is utter false.

As a dentist, if you are I'm very surprised at your intial reaction. Top dentist throughout the world want the banning of flouride, as it causes even more damage to teeth especially kids, as it causes teeth to become brittle and cause dental flourisisnes, however you spell it.

That is because of the child not looking after its teeth. Nothing to do with flouride:rolleyes:

    lol yeah sure...

    Not all dentists

Infact a chemist the other day told me that flouride was bad, and this was just general conversatoin.

I use non flouride toothpaste, my teeth are perfect

Sorry but is.... Flouride that is added can come straight from factories.

It's no heaven on earth. I suggest you look up ALL the facts on flouride, before you say such notions.
Anyone saying they dont use flouride and there teeth are good may be correct, but on a population level. Flouride in water is a brilliant method of protecting everyone from tooth decay.
    Also ****s up the brain.

So which is it. Toxins in your system or no toxins.

BTW, flouride never leaves your body.
EU law may at some point stop the water flouridation (it will be a sad day). Be prepared to bring your kids to the dentist more and watch the decay rate increase.
Well I hear some dentists hoping its banned.

EU won't ban it. The governments want it. Its a dumbing down agent.

I noticed the effects after two weeks of using non flouride toothpaste. My maths skilss have improved literally. Thats just an observation, as I'm no maths genius. But yes it's true.

Flouride even occurs naturally in tea for gods sake, you need to seriously do your research and realise how much flouride is been pumped into our bodies. It's exessive.

It may well have helped your Maths but you spelling needs more work.

But i do agree with you. Originally fluoride was a surplus from the munitions industry and used as rat poison, but interest groups in the good old U.S of A. came up with the idea that it would save money in the long run if it was used to lower the rate of tooth decay in the population.

Of course this has been seen to be true, but as the OP says, this was in the days before toothpaste was available and affordable, mainly to the working classes.

Now there is no real need for it and there is evidence that our overuse can lead to serious diseases and diminished bone density.

The other serious point is that it is against your human rights for anyone to administer drugs to you without your consent.

    And remember:
Fluoride IS a poison! The 1984 issue of Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products lists fluoride as more poisonous than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic.
    But you look great!

Ok I am not going to fead the trolls anymore, what would I know about this, I only have a fourth level education in dental science.

Never wrestle with a pig. You get mucky and only one of you enjoys it.

Anyway because the info here it totally incorrect I am going to lock this thread. Have fun, and remember only floss the teeth you want to keep.

So is chlorine. So is oxygen, so is water. Its a dose relationship.
