    Well no they are not illegal actually.

    As long as you own the game to the ROM that you have, then it is perfectly legal. Downloading ROMS for games that you don't have: That's illegal.

    The best and cheapest place to get these cards is www.dealextreme.com , yes there postage is veh-vehhryyy slow, but it's free, and the prices are stupidly cheap :cool:

    Where did you get your Info CutzEr? As far as I'm aware "Backups" of games, CDs DVDs etc are all illegal, as far as the law is concerned a copy is a copy and its piracy regardless of its purpose.

    The Flash cards themselves are legal but using them for copyrighted material is, so stuff like Homebrew is ok but ROM's of published games whether you own them or not isn't.

    Doesn't matter if you own the game it's still illegal. Anyway it's fairly obvious waht the user is intending to do. Thread locked, OP banned and posts edited.
