***ALTEZZA - INSURANCE***

Wats up motor heads:cool:,

been trying everywhere to get insured on toyota altezza(rs200) model, but with no luck :mad:, im 21, full licence, 2 years ncb, 3 points, yet i see lads my own age and younger driving around in them , i'm getting decent quotes on the lexus is200 and altezza as200 version, however im keen on getting behind the wheel of the rs200 version like this one here:

would really, really appreciate if anyone who is reading this could tell me how or with who i can get insurance on this car

Is the Beams 1990cc? I tried on QD and the AS200 was 1988cc so i went for "4 door" and it came up as 1990cc.

Any paticular reason why you like the tezza? €8k and sold as seen puts me off this paticular one but I think they're overpriced in general.

ye cheers man tried it aswell it is 1988c but its (SXE -10) import i.e. the rs200 version i want but the one they wont insure me on.

Im 21, full licence, 4 yrs NCB, no points, got a quote of €1295 fully comp with 123.ie Decided to put that money into my Glanza though and make it 220bhp

They dont legally have to cover you if you say you've bought the car at all, sometimes it works but if they still say no then you have no legal comeback.

insurance on an Altezza shouldn't be too bad, unless they've been blacklisted because of all the ejits trying to do doughnuts in them?

Have you just checked online quoting systems? they might not be giving you quotes because its an import, try ringing up and if they still dont offer you a quote ask to speak to a supervisor.
