You could learn the foxtrot which should suit some rat pack songs - I know Flora Millar does foxtrot and waltz lessons. www.floramillar.com

we had a swing band and chose 'I've got you under my skin' by Sinatra. We had done a few lessons so were able to make a stab at a dance. My wife refused to let me have Nick Cave's 'Into my arms' but this suited the occasion better.

Dancing is often the perpendicular expression of a horizontal desire:D so ye should make sure ye pick appropriate music..can't offer anything in the way of musical advice so the best i can do is wish the two of you a fantastic wedding and a long happy life together:)
