    :( any fans of this great show?....i watched it since the first series, it really was excellent, ok...second season not too hot, but i ASSURE you if you watch the third season it WAS getting better, back to it's season one roots.

    Sadly ABC Family pulled the plug on Jan 31st, 10 ep. for series three are now being broadcast, there are five ep. left to play and thats it...fans are tryna get The CW to pick it up, but they also tried this with the wonderful Wildfire and sadly nothing has become of it.

    ABC Family seem to be going the way of The CW and gearing it's original programming toward the young teen girl audience (aka Gossip Girl/Priviledged/90210) and has retained Greek for another season and has ordered three further new series geared toward the young teenie girl, one show is called 10 Things I Hate About You...it's a no brainer as to what this will be about, they also picked up a fourth season of black family drama Lincoln Heights (not watched it myself).

    It's a real shame as both Wildfire and Kyle XY were great shows, but alas in the current enviroment it's ALL about ratings :mad::(

    I really enjoyed the first season, but the second really went too far with the sappy teen/family drama and veered too far from the whole Sci-Fi element that worked for it in the first place. I've only watched the third season premiere episode and it annoyed me (ooh, memories of the prom and all that crap) so I haven't caught up on any more. And that's really the main problem with the show: that it tries to combine elements of a Sci-Fi mystery with an average teen drama, failing in both at times. I'm still sad to see it go but really, it hasn't been going anywhere since the start of the second season...
