Has anyone watched it?....i'm a fan of ABC Family shows like Wildfire/Greek and Kyle XY (sadly cancelled ) so was wondering if anyone has been watching this series?

It's written by Brendan Hampton (aka 7th Heaven) and is described by one reviewer "7th heaven meets Juno"...it's not quite a typical American highschool teen drama. In fact two characters are quite shocking considering it's a Disney owned channel.

If you get the chance do check it out, teen girls will love it and the guys...well, i would say give it a few ep. and decide...it's shocking (to me) in parts in the context as to how often teens discuss sex, can be quite funny also, bit of bitching and gossiping thrown in for good measure :P

I was in America for the Summer and this was promoted HEAVILY. Its not too bad I suppose. The girls I knew over there loved it though.

Well i also like mature shows, such as CSI...but this show just got me hooked, hard to explain and i doubt everyone will like it...and, i'm a guy! (not gay)

I like the latest ep with the bible thumping good girl Grace getting into a full-on bitch fight! :-), you don't see too many shows with a pregnant 15-year-old as the central character and it's also nice to see Molly Ringwald back on our screens.

Bumping this as series 2 has started in the US, [not to mod - there is another thread on this, can we merge them?]....i watched ep.2 and as with almost all episodes was written or co-written by creator Brendan Hampton. The use of the word sex and sex talk in general seems to have well ramped up!

Second part of season 1 seemed to tone the sex stuff down quite a bit, Hampton has claimed in interviews ABC Family leave her alone and don't micro manage, consider ABC Family is owned by Disney.

Anyways, bump to see if anyone else watches the show.

Still watching! I also noticed the more 'sex' related stuff! ANd was that Jack I saw drinking? There had been no mention of drink/drugs last season and Adrien mentioned them when she was talking to her father (about how she doesn't do them but does sex ). Just an observation!

The mid season finale aired Monday on ABC Family, it runs January for a further 12 episodes along with a further 10 episodes of Make It Or Break It. I have to say though that season 2 thus far hasn't been as good as season 1, it does have it's funny moments but i seriously think they need to introduce some new characters.

One think i'd like to see is Ashley get a bigger role, India Eisley may appear wooden but she has a certain dry wit that i appeciate, her cynical banter with her dad is fun to watch :-)

It's back!....the show that has the record for "sex" "slut" and "whore" used in the space of 42 mins returns tomorrow to ABC Family! :-)
It trounced Gossip Girl in the ratings all last year, it's a pure cheese-fest, with bad acting, portrays American teens in a bad light....but still darn entertaining :-)

HAHA!....i swear the latest ep. was bloody hillarious!!!!!...it was SOOOOOOOOOOO bad, cheese fest, horrid acting, cheesy script....i laughed all the way through.

And guess who's starring on the show??.....none other then Blossom!!, she was great, very funny,she looks alot older, there was one scene that shocked me!...but it needs a spolier tag!

HAHA!!!...she obviously hasn't watched the bloody show!...educate?, more like exploit....TSLOTAT teaches teenagers NOTHING about teen pregnancy, in fact it encourages it!!!

The whole show is about sex, the number of times sex is mentioned in a single ep. is shocking!!....one ep. all the girls were masturating!!

So this is a second 7th heaven alum to join the cast, that Mackenzie one was on it a few eps. back, looking all grown up and rather hot. Season 4?...what?, it got *another* season already?

As Deadline said….it ran it’s course...think most fans and ex watchers agree. For the record….i watch 4 full seasons and couldn’t take anymore!

The writing was never good, but it got to a point whereby….:mad:
Shailene will be an indie star, Brendan will come up with something else….it has 100+ eps. and syndication.

It was The WB version of 7th Heeven…say what you want about that show but it ran 11 seasons so must earn some respect!

I don’t respect TSLOTAT in the same sense but conceed it did very well and employed 180 people for nearly 5 years

Well, after five seasons and an utterly gargabe show....easily the worst written on tv, it all ends tomorrow. The series finale, i wont be tuning in, i suffered through three seasons and that was enough, :-)
