We paid 135(each) for our suits, they were 3/4 lenght. Shoes cost 20 euro a pair. We went with a place called Aston formal wear in town. My brother had used them and i was impressed with them. My other borther used Black Tie and he ended up with a cigerette burn in his jacket, but he paid a good bit less than we did.

The average is about €120 & €69 in the North so if your anyway near there it could be worth the visit & they normally throw in the shirts for free to keep. Also if you are thinking of going up North im half thinking of buying the lads there suits as there prezzies you can buy them up there for €100 less than what you would pay to hire a suit down here & if your buying a few they normally throw in the grooms suit for free could be worth checking out ;)

there is a place here in Balbriggan recently opened who sell all kinds of suits inc tuxes. A friend bought 3 from them (normal suits, not formal) at a good price. OH has his suit for the big day but we need a waistcoat and shirt and cravat, so going to have a look during the week. I'll let you all know if its up to much.

Get yourself over to England, no joke...

I was in Wolverhampton... got a brilliantly made suit for 50 quid. You might say it wouldnt be the right quality, but it really is the real deal. They have the kind of family run shops that can still cut deals and have a bit of craic that you just don't find in Ireland anymore...

    Shoes for a tenner aswell!
    Flights are only a fiver!
    And... DUTY FREE!!!

What the hell would you be at paying a few hundred for??
