clicking sound

I'm getting a loud clicking sound, I think,coming from bottom bracket area. Only get it when big force applied to pedals, i.e,out of saddle climbing. Any ideas?, I took off pedals and tightened everything last night, was OK on my commute to work, but was back on my way home.
