    Howdy,
Well we're finally going to get rid of the SOH's '99 Peugeot 206 and decided to have a look at some Opels today in Liffey Valley. We can pick up a mid-range Corsa - 1.2L 2008 model for €10000 - they're offering a €3000 scrappage trade-in for the older car.
What does anyone think? I had a look at Carzone and 1.2L 08 Corsas are an awfully lot dearer than €10000. It's nice and roomy inside and fits the bill for what herself is looking for.
18 month full warranty thrown in too.
    What do you guys think?

the new model corsa is a really good car by all accounts. Haven't driven them or anything but the roadtests are good. The 1.2 should be loads for most needs. Try offering a little lower in terms of price though. There'll be loads of ex rental ones about so supply is definitely greater than demand. Also, try look out for a diesel one. The 1.3 multi-jet engine is a peach and if you could get one for 10k it'd be a very shrewd buy. Its available in 75 or 95 brake. If she does a few miles it would be a good choice

Drove one this week and was very impressed. Scrappage deals are gimmicks
to get you in there. But 10k + your 99206 is a very good deal.18months would be remainder of man.warranty which would mean the car is only 6months old.
Six month old Ex-rentals are no harm and according to trade may be scarce this year.Rental companys are not registering as many cars this year and are holding on to them longer. So all things considered go for it.
