Are there many shops in Dublin where I could buy RAM for my Inspiron 6400? Have found several websites but would like to get my hands on it as soon as possible.

    Cheers.

Peats or Maplins, but they might be more expensive than online.

The max that machine will take is 2GB. Peats would be €19 for a 1GB Kingston 667Mhz stick.
