I contacted the motor tax office re my log book for a recently imported car. Vrt and tax, insurance are all paid. The lady in the motor tax office replied to my email by informing me that they had posted the vehicle registration certificate but this failed to turn up at my address. she attached the rf134 to apply for a new 1.

Is the vehicle registration form the same as the log book??

If so what is a vehicle registration book (one of the options listed on the rf134 form)

I have been to the guards and stamped and signed form.

Also how much money do I send with it and do they accept cash.??

I don't know how much you have to send, although something tells me it's ~€12, but log book = vlc (vehicle licencing vertificate)= tax book = what ever else name they make up for it.

thanks mate. I has seen 12euros on another site and wondered if it was the current price. Do you think they will accept cash or does it have to be cheque/postal order?.

I'd be surprised if you have to pay when the original never arrived.

...how recent is recent ? if it's days, wait a bit longer. If it's a number of weeks, get a replacement.

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Did you change address recently by any chance? It is possible that they sent it to an old address if they were not informed you moved.
