Don't get me started on these trainers. I bought a pair and loved them for all of 2 miles, then they ripped the ankles of me causing me to have a **** run at the jingle bells 5k. I tried altering them by cutting the backs of them where the friction was, all this did was cut me again only lower, causing panic stations for the raheny 5 mile. I picked up a pair of pearl izumi racers and now there class. Hope the shoes work out for you though.

Yes, I have read that some people have a problem with the heel on them.
Im on my second and find them great though.Anything else feels like putting blocks on my feet!

I rotate a pair of these with a pair of Asics every second run; so far I've done just under 400 miles on my pair, and I seriously love them. I'll definitely get a second pair once they're worn out, and I'm thinking about adopting the Lunar Racer as my next pair of racing shoes.

I've heard about runners having problems with these shoes in the heel/achilles area. It seems to be entirely dependent on the runner. I've had no problems whatsoever.
