Name of a TV Show?

Folks,

Looking for the name of a show I used to watch years ago. It was about a team of people on a plane who would come in and take the place of a certain person - take on the face of this person and protect them.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Was it the 1988 series remake of mission impossible?

They were quite fond of prosthetic make up effects, and had a plane to hop around in.

Nope definitely not that. It was a more recent one that that. It was more high tech. Big plane, like a Blackbird or something.

There was another series similar to MI a few years later called HUMAN TARGET, would this be it?

It is funny how you remember shows, this only aired for 7 episodes and yet I remember RTÉ showing it and thinking it was so cool.

The Human Target! Only 7 episodes? Thats mad. I remember watching it!!

I don't see how. The two guys in Quantum Leap where traveling through time and space, they didn't have a plane.

Human Target was base on a comic book according to Wikipedia.

Masquerade maybe?

Had Robert Vaughan in it, different cast every week, IIRC the amateur guys always got a year's pay for their endeavours. At a guess, RTE showed it some time around 1988ish.

Ok its is return .....ok they are remaking ..... ok its a totally new show lol

Human Target is in production for FOX 2009/2010 season.
