better picture quality

    New to this topic so this may be a stupid question ...
    Will the picture quality for DTT be better if an integrated tuner is used? Does it not avoid the digital-analog-digital conversion that is needed for the Scart jump between an external stb and a tv?

    Hardly at all. I think you'd find anyway that most stb's with an mpeg4 tuner will have a hdmi port so they will be able to transmit a digital signal, and HD DTT when that comes. Even if you're just using a good quality scart cable, the difference would be negligible between that and an internal tuner.
