How much , on average would it cost to get new back brake's and a handbrake cable installed in a 01 toyota yaris?

I ask becase i left my car in 2 weeks ago to a garrage to have back brakes installed. while the guy was tightening the hadbreak it snapped. im fine with that, better it snap there than on a hill in some town/city.

so he had to order a new brake cable. a week later it came but was the wrong one. now the new one has arrived but he cant fit it so is getting someone else to fit it.

i only agreed to pay labour to him, so i want to know what i should expect to be charged, had it been left into a genuine toyota garrage, so i can tell him roughly what he will be getting if he tries to extort more money.

Sorry OP, don't mean to pick on you but they are Brakes people BRAKES, break is what happens when the brakes aren't working.

Approx 1.5 hrs to fit rear shoes and cable, one toyota dealer i know charges €80 + vat per hour.

Pay €100 max if it's labour only. I'd expect him to knock a few quid off considering the mixup/hassle
