    Hi all,
as my wedding is quite small the hotel wont throw in the chair covers in the package (they rent them, don't own them so wont go to the expense! boo!)

anyway, anyone get any bargains on chair covers? so far most are quoting €4-5 per chair. anyone find cheaper???

    thanks!

Hi Ashlyn - thanks for that but no sign of celebrationz in google or yahoo. Can only get a link to wedingsonline site in their supplier directory but they have since gone off that site. Perhaps they are a victim of the credit crunch!

    anyone else got a suggestion???

First of all, do you really need them? Nobody notices once you're sitting down and some hotels take them off after the meal, personally think they're a rip-off.

But, if you really want them, try ebay. A friend of mine bought them and had them sold again (for the same price!) before she even got married! She just washed them and sent them on, cost her nothing.

  • Try Dream Venue.

Girl by the name of Rachel Carty organised chair covers, sashes, table top coverings and also cutlery coverings for approx €4.50 per person for a black tie ball I ran back in November. Pleasure to deal with too.

I'm not getting them for hte meal - the ceremony is in the hotel too and I want to make it as nice as possible - not just a conferencing suite with the usual chairs. Also the hotel don't supply them - they can give you a contact, but they don't supply themselves.

I did hear of many of them taking them back straight after the meal, but I am asking anyone I contact if they do that - seems most have copped on now and leave them overnight. The only ones who waiti around and take them off straight away are those who come from far afield - they obviously don't want to make two trips.

I have had a price of €3 per chair. But I have heard of others getting it for €2.50 - but that may be because they had a lot of chairs, I only have about 50. Anyway, I'll be negotiating a deal!
