    MOTORSPORT IRELAND 'Try Motor Racing' Day
    Mondello Park - Sunday March 1st 2009

    The first ever Get Into Motorsport' day to be organised by Motorsport Ireland will be held in Mondello Park on March 1st with the aim of helping aspiring race drivers find out more about how to get involved in Motor Racing.

    The single day event will give anyone interested in competing their first ever opportunity to talk to representatives of all of the classes currently racing in Ireland, in one place. There will also be an opportunity to find out everything involved in going racing, from the first steps in obtaining a competition licence, to all of the options when getting on track.

    For the first time intending competitors can also avail of the opportunity to see the Mondello circuit from the passenger seat alongside an experienced racing driver but to do this they must pre-register and attend at a specific time.

    So, whether you have serious ambitions or just want to race for the fun of it, all the contacts you will need to get going can be made in 1 day!

    This looks like it's going to be a cracking day, with a chance to get up close and personal with all the racing classes, organiser and racers. Including passengers spins if you register at the above link!! So it's a great oppurtunity to find out what's involved in getting started in racing.

    Absolutely, I'll be there with the Fiat Motorsport Club, so we'll have plenty of cars on display in the paddock, and out on track. Loads of people around to answer any queries or give you an idea of how/where to get started.

    Ill have my new Leastone JH004 Formula Vee there, provided I dont wreck it testing in Kirkistown the day before It will be number 81, do drop over and say hi. This will be a great day for anyone looking to find out all the info in one spot.
