    Hi,
    I'm looking into buying a set of rollers but would like to know how much noise they make? I bought a tacx sirus but that makes so much noise I had to stop using it when my flatmates are about. How much noise do rollers make compared to a tacx sirus/ turbos in general?

    My rollers make as much noise as my trainer. Sorry.

    I've no turbo to compare against, but my rollers are noisy if you are in the same room. Not sure about how loud it is from another room.

    Mine would be about as noisy as a turbo. I use them on the balcony.

    I have the same problem, but here is how I deal with it:

    - I have them set up in my bedroom above the kitchen so it's maximum noise pollution for any non cyclist living in the house
    - I will turbo More when my housemate IS there.
    - Knwowing that I annoy him, is a great motivator
    - I have my good headphones set up so I can't only hear the show I am watching at the time, and noone else

    I did the same a couple of years ago when I set up a drum kit in my living room, when my neighbours were playing Lordi very loud in the middle of the night.
