Was Peter Reid sacked or what (sorry, I just won't open a link to that rag of a paper)

    Actually - nevermind

    Reid manages Thailand.

The further away he is from taking a managerial role closer to home, the better. Supporters should be breathing a sigh of relief

I've seen a link to it on Youtube but it's blocked in work.

The lad who sits across from me in work is Malaysian and he now fears for the future of his national team if Stan ends up in charge!

Classic and Colm and Jim-Jim should never be used in the same sentence. Hope Stan does well as I think he was at a disadvantage in the Ireland job as Sir.Bobby was fighting illness.

    Best of luck Steve

Anybody else think that pranks like that is bang out of order? I mean, you are talking about someones job and livelihood whether they are high profile or not.

Someone who got sacked from being an assistant manager at a league one club asking to be Chelsea boss, hilarious. :D

A dream team of himself, Big Ron and Carlton Palmer???? Discuss.

If only Stan had Big Ron and Carlton Palmer when he was managing Ireland. We'd have beaten the Spanish in the European Championship final. Definitely.

While he was a cack manager with a Dougal like understanding of the whole thing you cant deny he had his share of bad luck.

    Still....
"more than happy to put your name in the hat".....lucky dip Stan, hope yet :D

Ive never heard or seen these lads but they get a rake of abuse, what is so bad about them?

Apart from the fact any grown man who refers to himself as JimJim is a spanner by default.

I wish Stan the best of luck and hope he gets this job tbh. One of Irelands best servants who should have never been given the Ireland job which hopefully he has leardned a lot from.
