The Park Inn is new and supposedly good. Very close to Semple.
Its on Friar street, very close to the train station.

Mitchel House is very good also. On Mitchel street, outside of town.

If you want to splash out, go a few miles outside of the town to either

    http://www.inchhouse.ie

    or

Parkers Restaurant. Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary (0504)43944.

    Also good is the

Kambo Chinese Restaurant Cathedral st, Thurles, Co. Tipperary (0504)90222
