Change over to Sky+

I have acquired ( not through Sky ) a Pace Sky+ box which I tested and it works fine.I already have Sky+ in the lounge and standard Sky upstairs. If I put the Pace box upstairs to replace the standard then I understand I need a second cable.Do I need Sky to do this or can I do it myself or get any pro installer? Any idea how much an installer might charge? It's about 20 feet along a wall from the dish to where the upstairs wire enters the bedroom.
If this is not done by Sky,would I need them to do anything to activate it etc?

Thanks a lot for any help.

You can do it yourself, it's easy unless you have two left hands ;)

Replace the upstairs box with the 'new' Sky+ one, run a new length of cable from the dish to the box, all you'll need is a pair of f-connectors and a length of decent cable, put the old card in the sky+ box and ring sky and get them to pair the card and box and that should be it, max cost ~20 Euro.

A pro installed could charge you anything from 50 to 100 euro to do it!!
