you will , all you can do is get the spot price on the friday before and work it back to Euros. It all comes down to quantity. I know Gold.ie have a 10oz minimum but they would probably be a little cheaper at about 5% over spot. at the coin show you might have to pay a little more. And as gold is hot in the news it might be higher. Other coins to look out for are soverigns and half soverigns. And dont buy any coins you dont know, some coins look like 1oz but are only 90% gold so you just need to be aware.
One dealer there was happy to take a chq. but I guess have cash to be on the safe side , they wont be geared to take debit cards.
Dont go nuts, gold is near all time highs a the moment and it could easily be back to $700 by April/May.

Hi, I want to get Krugerand coins.

gold.ie wanted 10% for commission when Im buying and will charge 1% if Im selling back to them. The minimum buy is 8K as well. Is there any other company thats pref based in Ireland and very trustworthy?

Because the price is in dollars Ive to be aware of euro to dollar exchange rate as well.

Is there a chart to see gold values in euros?

Has gold reached a ceiling of price resistance? Does anyone thing it will go a lot higher?

Ask in local jewellery store they might be able to source some for you. I preffer to buy sovereigns. Their gold content is the same as krugerrand but they are smaller and when you need to sell them quick it is better to sell smaller coin for fair price as to look for somebody who want to spend 850+ euros... sovereigns are about 180-200 euro now...

Where is this place in Blackrock?

I think www.gold.ie do gold coins, but the minimum purchase is about 8k

Pity no one seems to be selling single krugerrand or a maple leaf coins.

I'd say he was talking about The Collectors Shop in the Blackrock market. It's only open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Why do not try ebay? I had no problem buying or selling there. Lots of krugerrands. Or you can try few places in london. There are few shops there selling all kind of coins.
