Hi all, i'm thinking about setting up a v.a, just wondering is there anyone that would be intrested in helping set-up the v.a and if there are any pilots that would be intrested in it....

it would operate on the vatsim network, use fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft and operate in irl and uk

I setup a VA back in 1999 and it was great fun for a while. We had pilots from all over the world and lots of interest. Some people even got in touch trying to book tickets thinking we were a real airline!

Took a lot of time and work to get routes and pilot tracking stuff going and get all the airplanes painted but it was very rewarding. One of the guys that was running it with me went on to form Emerald Air which I think are still going...

Good luck to you Shane if you do get one going, its good fun. Get lots of advertising on the various VA and flightsim sites and you'll get plenty of interest because foreigners always love to fly virtually around Ireland. Feel free to plug it here as much as you want :)
