    Hi,

Basically, I'm looking to image my current C:\ drive so I can change my current RAID setup and resume without all the hassle of a re installation, although contemplating a clean install, but I'd like to review all options first.

Anyone know of a good program that fits the bill?

    Thanks in advance

    Acronis True Image Home/Professional
    Norton Ghost

Acronis has a Try and Decide mode which can be useful
When Try & Decide mode is enabled, any changes you make to your system — potentially damaging actions such as software installations and opening attachments — will only be performed on a virtual replica of your system drive within the Secure Zone.

A free solution I've used successfully a couple of times is DriveImageXML.

Would the changing of RAID setup e.g. RAID 5 to RAID 0 have an effect?

I'm not gonna stick my neck out and give a definitive answer on this, but I'd say you will probably run into problems.

Dumb question but is it your C drive which is Raided?

You should be fine, unless its a server you are going to re-image in which case you will probably need an enterprise version. For home its hard to beat Acronis or Norton. I would go with Acronis myself because Norton for a long time have been releasing software that is quite simply unusable.
