Just a strong recommendation to try this out..tis up on the PSN store now, €7.99.

It's short, it's made my elbow kind of sore from all the motion-controlling, but..it's really, really amazing. One of the best looking games I've seen too.

    Anyone else picked it up?

I watched the video and have no idea what is about.

It's sort of difficult to explain what it's about really. It's best experienced first hand, I think, particularly if you've no idea of it and no expectations of what it is.

I only saw one video of it before I picked it up, and that barely hinted at what it actually has up its sleeve.

If you've played any of thatgamecompany's previous games, it's kind of similar in theme (ecological/natural/environmental), but it's a much more impressive piece of work than their previous stuff, a big step up.

It might seem strange, and it's not an exact fit, but I kind of got shades of Rez while playing it. It's a similarly stunning experience, graphically/sonically, but in a very different way.

Yah, just played through the first three levels. It's ridiculously chilled out and I like it.

I picked this up also. Stunning game, the best soundtrack EVER in any game I have ever played.

Awesome game, bough it from the US store lastnight, very impressed with it!

*btw if you want to get the "welcome Back"(secret) trophy, set your PS3 system clock a week forward and re-launch the game :P .Just chanced it there and it worked....

I spotted this on the PSN shop last night although I opted to get the latest Luminies game. I was addicted to this when I had a PSP. Once I've played this one in to the ground I'll give the flower game a bash. It looks interesting all right.

Comparisons to Rez have piqued my interest.

Beautiful, simple gem of a game. The music is amazing, the feelings of movement...stunning. Even the end credits are beautiful!

I downloaded it last night before i went to work was nearly late because of it. It is a strange but fixating type of a game. Looking forward to finishing it

yeah definitely chilled out and relaxing. Got it myself and played the first few levels. It's simple but also rewarding. I love the effect of the wind on the grass and the way it moves in your wake as you guide your pettles down through it and up again. Who'd of thought a game about flowers could be so good.

Also, FINALLY a game that makes me feel the sixaxis has a point.

Sometimes it's hard having an NTSC machine. Got this this morning but it won't output in NTSC. I'll have to wait until I get on to my brothers HDTV.

Is there a demo avalable? Would like to try it before paying.

I don't think I've ever seen a demo for a PSN exclusive game. They are usually quite short and more novelty games.

Plus it only costs a few euros anyway. Imo its worth it, with a decent 5.1 setup and a HDTV it's more of a visual experience than a game.

I also like the screensaver function in the game, if you don't move the controller for a few seconds, or if you press select, its starts rotating between cameras of various parts of the level you are on.

They are released for some games, but are not common. Most recently, they have done it with 3-on-3 NHL Arcade and (deep breaths:pac:) Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (and exhale:eek:).

Wasn't a demo released for Wipeout HD?

Possibly. Just named those two because I downloaded the demos today, so I knew them for definate. Warhawk has a demo as well.

Will have to look for Flower tonight, though. Seems to be getting good reviews elsewhere as well.

I downloaded Flower last night and although it looks nice I don't really like the game. It is very boring imo.

I've really enjoyed playing Flower this weekend. It plays much more like a game than I thought, certainly more so than flOw did. I would definitely recommend it but I agree with the comments that they should have a demo.

I wasn't expecting it to have Trophies but it does which is cool. If your having troubling getting the secret flowers I found a guide here.

Wow, neither was I. I knew Sony made it mandatory for all games to have Trophies now, but didn't realised that it extended to PSN games as well.

Flower, very nice, seriously chilled out gaming.
If I only had more time to fit it in with all the rest of the games I have.
I seem to download things from PSN and XBLA and, after an intial burst, they go unplayed.
So far the best of them has been Geometry Wars 2, that one got 3 months of regular play before becoming another dormant icon on my 360's dashboard...

yeah same here, I have a lot of PSN games that I've bought, played a few times then dropped.

flower seems like a game that I'll play if it's too late to start into a real game but too early to go to bed.

That being said I'll probably stop playing it once I get all the trophies.

Still, it will be nice to use as a screensaver and background music when friends are over.

Find the same myself although I always try to beat them first before never coming back. however there are a few that keep me coming back. My addiction to puzzle quest seems to ignite every so often. I'll have to finish it before galatrix comes around.

Isn't there a trailer for this on the PS store? I was flickin through last night and I'm pretty sure I saw one. I think its 3.2 GB as well though!

I also find the same thing with downloadable games, that I play them for a while and then go off them quite quickly. That is why I've restricted myself to very few PSN games.

The one exception is Wipeout HD. Phenomenal game.

Finished the game last night. Loved it especially the last level.
Have 2 trophies left to get, Pure & 10,000 flowers.

Got it, love it. Absolutley jaw droppingly gorgeous, more of an interactive screensaver, and at times i just want to be able to roam freely instead of being restricted to a defined area. Lets hope for same DLC in the future.
