I have been using them for the past two years. I like them they seem to be the best shoe for me. Yes I find they wear out quickly but its somewhat offset by there price, I paid 100 for my last pair, whilst its still 100 euro, they are not as expensive as some of the other shoes. Since I started using them I haven't been using any other brands.

I use the Wave Inspire 4 shoe and have done over 400 miles in the first pair but still ok. Went and bought a second pair in January and the price only went up 5 euro in 9 months. Find that they last the norm and that they're really comfortable and would recommend them to anyone.

I had a pair of Mizuno Wave Inspire 3 which I rotated with Brooks Adrenaline GTS (7 at the time, think they're up to 9 now). They were both comfortable for me and I ran well in them including a Dublin Marathon (trained in both, raced in the Mizuno). Didn't really think about it but looking at the log I did end up putting a few more miles on the Brooks, but there could be other factors than just the brand - for a start, I'm not sure they're equally worn out. Going back to rebuy at Amphibian King, I didn't really have a strong opinion and I'd be happy to buy either again.

I wear the Wave Creations and find the outer wears quickly also. I'd prefer they were longer lasting but they suit me very well so I will continue to use them.

Its relatively easy to get new outers if that's the only damage. Some of the people I was running with at the weekend had some really well done one's. THey had put off-road soles onto well cushioned shoes. Probably not great for the elites but for most of us, they looked really the business.

I do find that they wear out quickly but love them.

Amazon have a great deal on them at the moment. £54.99 + £15 p&p

I picked up 2 pairs of NB1060's in Elverys when they were €50 reduced from €120 and also a pair of NB1061 up in the outlet sore past Newry for £40. I find them ok as mid mileage shoe - but find they loose their newness, bounce, pretty quickly after 100 miles or so, so now they are in the shed wait for the bright evenings on the grass, anyone else experince this?

On this note, how do you know when your shoes have had it and are not really suitable for running? I have 2 pairs alternating right now since about September

For me it's just intuitively, the shoe feels like it's dead - particularly on the road. You know that new shoe feeling.

I justed checked the underside of my there, I need a new quite soon. The added weight of the backpack takes a severe toll on them.
