Gramaphone effect

ok years ago used to use a Boss BR900 digital 8 track.
Loved it... and mostly loved the effects on it. have long since upgraded to protools and a digi 002.
going to be recording an old song that was once recorded on the br900 and im starting to wonder how im going to do the intro. for the intro to the song i had a cool gramaphone effect that was a preset in the br900, just wondering if anyone knows how to emulate that gramaphone sound within a plugin or any other way. needs to have a nice level of hiss and the odd crackle and a really low quality bit rate of whatever sound is being processed.
    Any suggestions?

izotope vinyl is exactly what you're after. its free aswell. just go to the izotope site and register an account and you'll get it.

vst only AFAIK but works perfectly in the FXpansion wrapper.
