BMW 1 Series 3 Door Window Problem

I have a BMW 1 series 3 door, the window moves down every time the door is closed and moves up again so the glass is pushed into a groove in the roof.

There appears to be a problem where the door will not close occasionally as the glass is catching in the roof.

Is there any simple way to fix this by say recalibrating the window location, or will it take a visit to a dealer.

I assume this sort of work would be carried out by waranty.

It's very easy to do a manual reset. When you're in the car, lower the window fully by pressing the switch and holding it. When it reaches the bottom, keep holding the switch for 10 secs. Raise it by holding the switch, and when it reaches the top, keep holding the switch for a further 10 seconds. This should reset the system.
