What was the standout scene in a movie in 2008? Try not to spoiler it, if it's a big plot twist.

To be eligible, the film must have been released on Irish cinema screens between 18/1/2008-7/2/2009 (inclusive) and not have featured in last year's awards. Each voter can only nominate a maximum of two films for this category. Any further ones shall be ignored.

For me it has to one of Heath Ledger's scenes in Dark Knight.
Off the top of my head either the scene where he makes the cop beat him up in the interrogation room and......

    Or the 'magic pencil' scene.

The Dark knight, penicl trick, just because of the way it sealed the character, how he sets people on edge and plays with them.
Iron man - talking to the robots, hilarious.

WALL-E: WALL-E merrily going through the garbage, oblivious to the world
There Will Be Blood: The scene when the oil well goes on fire. Beautiful to look at, makes me want to burn things...
