Help identifying a jazz(y) album

Was stuck in the doctor's waiting room today, and there was background music on ... piano, bass, drums played with brushes, and a girl doing some pretty cool versions of popular songs. The only two I heard were Prince's Purple Rain, and Jamiroquai's Return of the Space Cowboy. I've googled with no luck, would anyone know…

Was stuck in the doctor's waiting room today, and there was background music on ... piano, bass, drums played with brushes, and a girl doing some pretty cool versions of popular songs. The only two I heard were Prince's Purple Rain, and Jamiroquai's Return of the Space Cowboy.

I've googled with no luck, would anyone know the girl singing, or the album?

I YouTube'd it and I got only one hit and it was a Mr. Bungle song, "Pink Cigarette", cool song.
