What songs are you looking at? I know a girl that would do it for very little I would say, she's excellent, based in Meath

We got married in Kilkenny but for a singer and an organist, it was €500. Some people charge a lot more and some slightly less.

+1 Uh oh, I was planning on using the church's PA system and a CD of the music we want.......... now it's been a long while since I've been in a church..... is this going to be possible?

Hope the church has some sort of PA system that we can put a CD into. A boom box on the altar wouldn't be exactly classy ;)

    Hi
My fiance, sings at weddings, she has been doing so for the last 5 years. She is quite reasonable, I won't quote prices as it might be seen as advertising (which is frowned upon, i think).
I can pm you her number if you are interested, she is based in Dublin, but has sand in Meath, Kildare and most of the surrounding counties.
In my opinion, you really can not have a cd playing at the ceremony, a live singer really makes the day.
