JC 09 art help

ok im doing art for the jc because im being forced to . so basically im doing the theme michanical parts, and i have sort of gone into the "technology" sub catagory, microchips, phones, ect... so i have done my 2d and prep/support studies for it. for the 3d im just doing a clay model of the n96, nearly done. any ideas about an artist i could relate to on the support studies, that may have done something simaler, in any way? i used leonardo DaVinci and his sketches of the things like flying machines for the 2d support studies. any help would really help here, i have no idea what to write on the support studies this time

The art topics really suck this year don't they? I love art and all but my project is pure bull atm lol.. for an artist in your support studies, you could try this guy http://freshpics.blogspot.com/2006/10/mechanical-art.html He uses machine parts to make sculptures, so you might find him useful for the 3d models etc.
You did metion Microchips..? Michael Davidson's microchip art. He etched images on the surfaces of microchips!

i have NOTHING done

Im doing the nature awakes theme......

im not doing art for the l.c but don't want to fail....


any tips how i should catch up or any ideas for my project...

i wish i did it all at the start of the year....

if anybody is in 2nd year reading this...
when you do art next year get all the work done at the start....

I did mine last year and was pretty well organised at this stage. Have you any prep done?

Went in a day durin easter break and did ALL :eek: my preps and supports... didn't take that long onle 3and a half hours!!
:D So happy i'm finished!! :D

I only have painting prep sheet done, everything else is half finished or only started and haven't even got a chance to think about support studies :(

And my (sub)teacher really does NOT have a clue about this whole project thing and tells us to "do what we are supposed to do"?!?

i have my 3d and craft done with support and prep. Working on my 2d now its a poster for a 60's band tying in with the suitcase of memories. any idea what artist i could use for support?

I finished my project today im soo happy!!!
All I can say is thank god my teacher is a slave driver otherwise we wouldnt have got it done!
