Hi.. i am going to apply for my provisional licence on friday,so i have to get two passport photos taken tomorrow and i was just wondering is there any strict regulations on these photos such as no smiling..etc.. because i am getting it done in one of those photo booths..not in a chemist! Ever had a passport photo taken?

Little less strict than that, dont have a big smile on but a little grin would be alright, no need to be depressed!

Dont cover your face with all types of things either, and just look at the camera. Head shots with some of the neck is what theyre after!

I hate having mine done. I always look so miserable in them

I have a really sad face on my licence. The picture was taken about 1 hours after I passed my test, I couldn't have been any happier! lol

You should smile but try more of a polite smile if that makes any sense

And just to note, you're applying for a Learner Permit. Provisional Licenses are long gone.;)

Also make sure the photo is taken against a white background. They can be picky if its black.
