    Can anyone help me!!??

    I have forgotten my password for my hotmail account, and I need to send a new password to my alternate e-mail address....

    How can I change the choice of alternate e-mail address???

    You have to be logged in to specify an alternate email address...otherwise you could get in to any account you wanted.

    If you can't reset the password using the other mechanisms, the security questions and so on, you'll have to contact hotmail help. They'll ask you what IP you usually accessed the account from, addresses you might have in the address book, emails sent and received and so on to verify that you are the owner of the account.

    I've attempted all of the suggestions you gave, and I've just now attempted to create a new password, but I am still unable to log into my account???

    Yep. And tried their suggestions, but nothing works.....?:confused:

    Then I'd say you either haven't been in touch with the right section or haven't convinced them well enough that you should have access.
