60's/70's band looking for female singer

    Mature(!) 3 piece band based south Dublin/north Wicklow looking for female singer for gigs in clubs pubs weddings etc.
    Looking for good 60's harmony sound and some rock/motown- emphasis on entertaining the audience and having fun as a band.

    just saw your thread where in sth dublin/nth wicklow are you gigging I live in Kildare I played with band in Dublin for 6 years. Can you give me an idea of the types of songs you play thanks:)

    Working on repertoire-will do mix of pop from sixties and seventies and then a mix of rock/soul/motown etc depending on the vocal style and preferences of the female singer.
    Beatles,Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Mamas and Papas, Cher, Grease,Commitments,Elvis are all in the mix at the moment -any stuff thats well known and gets the crowd going.
    Any preferences yourself?

    well I do songs like Gabrielle, Duffy all types of songs I am also very good at harmonising, where do you gig:)

    depending on many factors :) i think one of you guys was on the phone with me yesterday and we made a date of 21st late morning? unless u want to meet up this saturday between 11-13:00 but I'm recovering from a sinus infection and between gigs so might be tricky to give it all while singing, still happy to talk with you :)
