My sister is 34 years old and can't drive. I have offered to teach her. She lives in Dundrum. She has a Provisional licence and has just bought a small car in which to learn. Can anyone recommend a good location around Dundrum where I can teach her in relative peace? I had thought of UCD but all the students on bicycles might pose a problem.
    Any tips welcome

I know its down the n11 a bit but the Shanganagh Park car park on the Bray Road Shankill is a great place, its open 24/7 and its big with loads of turns.

If your willing to drive as far as Citywest, the industrial park out there is very good for learning in. In fact there used to be a test centre out there.

Go out at about 7ish, there's little or no traffic and plenty of roundabouts.
