Advice, criticism and feedback greatly appreciated:
    “Tea at three Mr. Jenkins”
    Came the voice
    “Tea at three Mr. Jenkins”
    the echo replied
Hitting the walls of the large corridor
Like a blind fly busily scrambling for the sanctuary of the glow
Mr. Jenkins thought of the women
round and old and grey and weak
Not of constitution but a certain weakness was assumed in a person
Whose mouth like nestling gaped for another’s hand
    And what had she achieved?
but toil for recompense, a cottage with nursery and a sap etched compact
On Friday she would leave in groping felicity,
Hand in hand with her helpmate of thirty years
To fill her weekend with walks and talks
And cooking him his favourite dish and blasted tenderness
But he didn’t care, for the Egyptian cotton of his bathrobe was soft against his skin,
And he knew it would always be there.
