VBA for excel

    Looking to take a course in this. Anyone any recommendations
    Seems to be a fair few places offering 1 day intensive courses which are not cheap.

    There is some confusion at the moment as to whether vba is going to be removed from office products in the future in favour of Visual Studio integration, just something to bear in mind


    Wikipedia:
    "The current Mac version (Office 2008) has removed Visual Basic functionality so macros cannot be used and those generated in previous iterations of Office no longer work. Microsoft announced in May 2008, that Visual Basic would be returning to Excel in future versions."

    It's very unlikely they will get rid if Vba, banking for example is completely dependent on it.

    Courses are expensive, there's a couple of good books on Excel and vba, probably a load of free notes if you google for tutorials.
    Try youtube too, I've seen stuff for c++ so there might be something

    Buy a good book and use the online forums. Theres loads of information online for Excel VBA.

    mrexcel.com is a great resource too. lots of advice if you get stuck in VBA and Excel in general
