My Obligations re Childminder in the Home

    Hi,
I currently employ a Childminder to come to my home and mind my children for 30 hours each week. I pay her in cash every Friday.

While this is an extremely mutually beneficial arrangement, I sometimes worry about my legal/financial obligations. Should this employment be declared?

She is not a registered Childminder.

Could anyone advise me - or refer me to any literature - about this?

    Many thanks.
