Sky digital signal

Have a big problem with my digital reception at the moment,

The dish is at the back of the house (south facing) and the cable runs in the attic to the front of the house (north facing) before dropping down the wall to the ground floor .

The kids room is directly over the tv room and when they are on the mobile phone, texting or playing the WII the signal drops !

Is there any way to solve this with a booster of do I have to move the cable ?

i've noticed a similar problem with sky in a house when texting etc.i think it may be possible to filter it or move the dish but i'm only guessing.there would be experts here or at the satellite forum anyway.i'll be interested to find out

Are there any joins at all in the cable? If so make sure they are properly done with f connectors and joining barrel.
The cable is probably inadequately screened. It should be copper on copper CAI approved cable. (CT100, WF100, TX100 etc.)
If it has just a thin aluminised plastic screening between the outer and the braid, or even worse if there is no screen at all, it is likely that the cable is allowing interferring signals to leak into (and out) of it.
So best thing top do do is replace cable with a continuous run of Ct100 equivalent.
