Hi all, Debate here as to how the 6 nations fixtures are decided. Hi all,

Debate here as to how the 6 nations fixtures are decided.

We know who plays where each year - but who plays in the opening and closing matches - is it by chance or as someone here suggests by seeding of some sort with the 1st and 2nd favorites in the last game?

I seem to remember the closing match to be Scotland - Italy some years ago which I am fairly sure puts paid to the seeding theory, but I could be wrong.
