A book "Hitler's Irishmen" raised the possibility that when the German Army moved to crush Stauffenberg's coup attempt and surrounded German Army HQ, two of the troops that entered the HQ were Irishmen James Brady and Frank Singer, then serving with the Nazi Special Forces. See if I can find the details.
