Seat Cordoba

I generally dislike the Cordoba. It's basically the same as the now defunct last generation Polo saloon - which thankfully has been discontinued.
It's basically an Ibiza, with the same poor rear seat room except they've grafted a huge ugly boot on the back. A sort of in-between car like the Hyundai Accent, Suzuki Liana or it'sa cousin, the Skoda Fabia saloon - not big enough to trouble the Focus or Golf, but also not chic enough to get people out of Corsas or Fiestas.

It seems to be more reliable than the average VW stuff, but on the other hand it has a nasty 3 cylinder engine, drab cheap feeling interior and few redeeming features I can think of apart from the low price.

That one seems cheap enough though if you like the Cordoba, and at that price level things like practicallity should rule over style. It makes sense I suppose.....

I have a feeling a 1.2 in that car would feel rather lethargic.

Well, I've owned 2 Seats before and I think they're great cars.

Unless you happen to get the nasty 3 cyl. model of course.;)
