When I was in 6th Year, I booked mine before Easter,I'd advise anyone to do that now.though beware,if you are going for private accomodation in a house, some landlords don't take male first years

Book well in advance! Might be worth contacting the accom office now just to be sure, and stick you r name down provisionally.

If you're going to be a 1st Year, get in early cos there are lots of 2nd, 3rd &4th years who are making their plans already for next year. Some 1st years go into 'digs' just for the 1st year as their parents want them to before getting used to being away. Most 1st years want to get their own accommodation tho.
