I a bit amazed that no one has stuck up a thread (from what i can see) about Tony McCoy hitting 3,000 winners, so i'm doing it.

The man's a force of nature and every horse he rides does their best, whether they want to or not. So well done AP and here's hoping you carry me few quid now and again for the next few years.

    1,000...2,000...3,000

Your only as good as your next winner.

AP is one of the greatest sportsmen of modern times. An absolute colossus in the saddle and the most determined sportsman

    An absolutely outstanding achievement.

Fantastic achievement for McCoy and still a few years left in him.I wonder what number of winners he'll amass before he retires from the saddle.I guess he'll go on for another 4 or 5 years so should get another 500 possibly. He will go down as a legend in years to come and we should all be glad that we saw him riding.
