Terrano losing power

    Hi all,

was hoping someone might have a suggestion as to what may be causing problems with my Terrano. Its Terrano 2 '99 2.7tdi.

The problem is it appears to be losing power. I had a similar problem before christmas and i changed the air flow sensor and she was flying again. Now im back to a similar situation. She revs up no problem but there is no real power in it when driving, yet when she finally gets up to speed she cruises along grand.
It almost feels like the turbo isnt kicking in when it should. But wouldnt it be pretty smoky if the turbo was going?

Could it be spring collapse in injector pump?costly to fix?

To be honest im stumped. All filters have been changed, oil change and there are no leaks in the exhaust.

Any help or suggestions are most welcome!

    Cheers

    JB

an uncle of mine had one of these and for a long time it was very dead, eventually he got it sorted and iirc it was a sensor with something to do with the exhaust, not 100% though was a good while ago, im sure someone else will know for sure.
